What is love? Baby don’t hurt me, don’t hurt me no more…

Yeah that lyric does not have naything to do with anything.  That is unless you are a Night at the Roxbury fan, and then it is awesome.  So I just wanted to get on a soapbox for a minute.  I hate how overnight shipping as of late takes two days.  You would think that overnight would mean that it would be shipped overnight and whatever you ordered would be ther the next day.  Not so apparently.  Kim and I have ordered new cell phones from Verizon and they are due to be here today, but they were shipped overnight on Sunday.  I just think that is weird that they call it overnight shipping and it gets to you two days later.  Does anyone agree with me on thisw point?  Anywho…I just thought I would say that.

Also just as a response to those who say ignorant things concerning a certain football game that is coming up this Saturday, the Yellow Jackets will destroy the Bulldogs.  So deal with it.

That’s right folks, the Yellow Jackets will have a share of the ACC Coastal division title.

Last night was awesome.  The Jackets came out and showed those south Florida boys what it is like to come to Atlanta in November and play football.  Tech was ready for Miami last night.  The defense was amazing, as usual.  The offense was running on all pistons, and they showed it.  We are now 8-3, and the only team in our division with five conference wins.  I know that other things have to happen for us to get the championship game, but it is by no means out of the question for us to get there.  It was cold last night too.  Troy and I had a great time though.  It is just so neat to go down there to that stadium and see a football game.  There is just something about the setting of being at Bobby Dodd Stadium at night with the Atlanta skyline glowing in the background.  It is such a great environment for a football game.  I was very glad that I wore thermals under my t-shirt and coat, but my legs paid for the fact that I did not wear thermals on the lower half of my body.  Overall though, a great time was had by all, unless of course you are a Miami Hurricane fan. Then the night really stunk, but you know stuff happens.

Oh by the way, the final score was GT 41, Miami(FL) 23.  That is for those of you who did not watch the game.

I’m a rambling wreck from Georgia Tech, a heck of an engineer…

I just want to check in with everyone this afternoon.  I am really excited because I get to go to the GT vs. Miami game this evening.  It is a huge game for the Yellow Jackets tonight, because it will mean the difference between whether or not they get to go to the ACC Championship game.  It is a must win situation for GT.  It is also going to be awesome because it is a whiteout game tonight.  It will be cool to see the sea of white in the stadium.  I will check in and let you guys know how it went tomorrow.  Oh yeah, also pray that I don’t freeze do death tonight.  It is going to be stinking cold, but it is more than worth it to get to see my beloved Yellow Jackets put a whoopin’ on the Canes.  I’ll let you guys know how it went tomorrow.  Until then…

I will not forget You are my God my King…

Alright.  Go ahead and be amazed.  I know that it has been forever since I have blogged.  I’m sorry about that, but I have been rediculously busy.  I know that it is no excuse, but really it has been crazy.  In the past month a lot of stuff has happened.  I went to New Orleans to take a class for a week,  I had my 25th birthday, and I took the middle schoolers on a retreat Tennesse.  It has been really fun, but really tiring.  I am in class right now trying to pay attention, but I am really tired right now.  I was up until 1:30 this morning working on a project for one of my classes, and then I had to get up at 5:15 this morning to be here at school early in order to lead worship at a prayer breakfast.  It was really good.

I cannot believe that Thanksgiving is next week.  This year has flown by.  It is amazing to me that I have been married for three years now and that I have a nearly 17 month old daughter.  God is so good to me, and He has blessed m ein so many ways.

Well, I promise that I will blog with more substance next time, and I also promise that it will not be as long before I do so.  Have a great day.
